“The senses, being explorers of the world, open the way to knowledge.”

Tuition for the 2016-2017 school year
MCC utilizes extensive Montessori materials, maintains beautifully aesthetic classroom environments, and provides a stimulating curriculum presented by highly trained faculty. The depth and breadth of our teachers’ educational backgrounds and teaching experiences is quite impressive. Eight of our 12 Head Teachers have Masters degrees, in addition to undergraduate degrees and Montessori Certification. As a group, they represent 110 years of Montessori teaching experience. This is in addition to 60 years of teaching experience in traditional educational settings. To give your child the finest possible experience in his/her most sensitive years is to give him/her a strong foundation throughout his/her life. Many educators believe that is wiser to invest in a child’s early education that his college education. The child who enjoys learning and becomes self-directed at an early age will benefit throughout his entire life.
As you begin the process of choosing a school for your child, please keep in mind that you are often not comparing apples to apples. The majority of private schools have hidden costs for such items as art, foreign languages, field trips, books, and even guest speakers. Tuition is all-inclusive at MCC and includes student fees, parent education meetings with guest speakers, field trips, special programs, books, materials, teachers in-service seminars, etc. MCC assumes all the costs for its programs and does not subsidize tuition with volunteer parent fundraising, annual giving, or donations from foundations, corporations, etc.
Montessori Children’s Community offers a Children’s House Program (ages 3 to 6 ) which also includes the Extended-Day (Kindergarten year ). We also offer a Lower Elementary (Grades 1-3 ), Upper Elementary (Grades 4-6 ), and Middle School (Grades 7-8 ) Programs. Payment of tuition is paid in 10 monthly installments, with a one time nonrefundable deposit to secure your child’s space that year.
If you are interested in knowing more about MCC, we encourage you to call the office and someone will be happy to explain the tuition as well as discuss any questions or concerns you may have.
As we assume all educational costs in our tuition, unfortunately we are unable to offer scholarships or reduced tuition at this time.
